PA to the Archdeacon of Hackney
Vacancy Reference cofe/TP/1369/1146
This Vacancy has been closed.
Overview
The Archdeaconry of Hackney forms the Stepney Episcopal Area and is composed of the deaneries of Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets. This is an interesting and eclectic part of London with a lot of change taking place across all three deaneries. The demographic is changing and will continue to do so in future years as the skyline changes and well established residential estates are cleared to make room for new developments. Holding the old and emerging East End in tension as the Church seeks to minister to all who live and work in the Area is a core part of the ministry in Stepney and one which is an interesting and rewarding challenge.
Introduction
The Archdeacon's Personal Assistant will provide important and valuable support to the Archdeacon in the ministry across the Archdeaconry, especially among the parishes and the Area Staff. The PA has responsibility for a wide range of administrative and coordinating roles. The PA works in close co-operation with the Administrator to the Archdeacon, Area Staff, Area Deans and other office holders, as well as Diocesan staff based at London Diocesan House.
