Overview
The West Buckingham Benefice comprises six parishes in the Buckingham Deanery between the pleasant market towns of Buckingham and Brackley.
Introduction
We are a faithful and faith-filled community of Christians working together as a benefice. This is an exciting context for rural ministry, with strong lay support, and hope as we look forward to the next phase of our mission and ministry.
Main Responsibilities
We are praying for a new Rector:
- to help us be alert to new opportunities and ways of working together
- to serve God and each other
- to discern God’s will and be confident in God’s plan for us
- to be thankful for God’s abundant blessings, even in times of change.
The Ideal Candidate
Our new Rector will:
- be an enabler and a collaborative leader
- be a friendly, approachable and inclusive communicator
- be able to work well with colleagues in the deanery’s Group Ministry structure
- enjoy and thrive in a rural context
