Main Responsibilities

• To lead a benefice and enable further unity across the benefice in its mission.
• To work ecumenically, taking 'authorised presbyter' status for the Methodist church in Hamstreet.
• Leading in pastoral care and enabling teams to work across the benefice.
• To nurture and encourage lay ministry.
• To pray and preach.
• To work with the local schools.

The Ideal Candidate

• Someone with excellent communication skills, able to work across a large and diverse benefice.
• Someone grounded in prayer and able to preach, bringing Scripture alive in today's world.
• Someone willing to embrace our ecumenical partnership.
• A sensitive innovator, able to adapt each church's identity and style/
• Someone with the vision to further unite the benefice in its mission.
