Introduction
St Margaret’s is a diverse and friendly church in leafy west Putney that welcomes everyone. Our aim is to meet God, connect with others, celebrate life and find support when we need it most.
We wish to appoint a new vicar to lead us through our next phase of development and are seeking someone who has a strong faith, whilst embracing broad churchmanship and an inclusive church stance, and is:
- a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- able to lead by example and through Christian teaching
- creative and open-minded, balancing vision with delivery
- an effective leader and collaborative manager of people and change
- positive, resilient, empathetic, and self-aware
- ambitious for St Margaret’s, and able to inspire others
- willing and able to develop our pastoral care and our work with young people
- familiar with and competent in use of online streaming and social media
