Introduction

St Andrew & St Mark, Surbiton are two churches in one parish where people of all faiths and none are welcomed to explore the meaning of Christianity. We are traditional in our liturgy, with a strong Eucharistic and musical tradition, but liberal in our theology and proud to be part of the Inclusive Church network.   

We are praying for a priest who: 

  • Has a faith rooted in the Christian fundamentals of love and forgiveness;
  • Is supportive of the principles of Inclusive Church
  • Enjoys preaching theologically and spiritually stimulating sermons
  • Has spiritual and emotional support mechanisms in place
  • Enjoys working with articulate parishioners with varied viewpoints
  • Is willing to talk about money
  • Embraces the diverse needs of the whole parish community
  • Enjoys life and takes full advantage of holiday entitlement
