Introduction

Our vision is to see a generation of younger evangelical leaders thriving in their calling, and equipped to lead with faith, resilience and impact in a rapidly changing context.

This new role is an exciting opportunity to help deliver our strategy to reach out to a younger age group, and is a mix of training leaders, resource provision, shaping new leadership programmes and winning work. Roughly 50% of your time will be spent on core CPAS leadership training and the remaining 50% will focus on developing younger Christian leaders, especially those in their 20s and 30s.

We are looking for someone who is relational, warm, and able to build trust across diverse contexts. With strong Bible teaching and communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to design and deliver leadership development programmes and learning pathways for Gen Z and younger adults, using interactive and creative approaches for diverse learning styles. They will have proven Christ-like leadership with fruitful church ministry experience, a demonstrated passion for and commitment to evangelism in practice, and experience mentoring, coaching, and developing emerging leaders (especially Gen Z and Millennials).

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Location: You could be based at the office or at home. Regular attendance at the office will be required – usually once per week.

Hours: There is flexibility for this to be either a full-time appointment of 37 hours per week, or a part-time appointment of 4 days / 29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE). Please indicate your preferred option on your application.

Salary range: £44,446 - £49,125 per annum, subject to an annual pay review. (£35,557 – £39,300 pro rata for 0.8 FTE.)

This post will be subject to a Basic DBS check, and satisfactory completion of a Declaration of Suitability form. You must also have evidence of your ongoing right to work in the UK.

Due to the nature of the role there is an Occupational Requirement that the postholder is a committed Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, an active member of a local church, and in agreement with the CPAS Basis of Faith.

Application deadline: 9am on Tuesday 26 May.

Interviews: there will be a first stage online interview on Tuesday 2 June. Successful candidates will then be invited for a second stage face-to-face interview on Tuesday 9 June at our offices in Coventry.

How to apply: Please see further details at CPAS jobs
