Introduction

Over the past nine years, we have worked intentionally to make our church building a true community hub, a place where faith and fellowship meet everyday life.
After the appointment of our previous incumbent as Archdeacon of Blackburn, the Bishop of Lancaster would like to appoint a prayerful and compassionate priest to lead this vibrant and welcoming parish who will:
- Have a deep love of God and reliance on the Holy Spirit, valuing both traditional worship and creative worship expressions
- Inspire through Biblical teaching and nurture discipleship so faith flourishes
- Lead with warmth, encouragement and a sense of humour
- Empower others to lead, nurture vocation and lay leadership
- Share our enthusiasm for mission, particularly with families and young people
