About the role:

Key responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the set-up and breakdown of Cathedral events

  • Carrying out external maintenance across Cathedral grounds
  • Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Escorting contractors and external production teams
  • Inputting data into the CAFM system
  • Assisting with lifting and moving equipment and materials
  • Maintaining tools and equipment where appropriate

This role will suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable working in a unique and historic environment.

About You:

  • Willing to undertake training, including health and safety training
  • Friendly and professional when interacting with colleagues, contractors and visitors
  • Proactive and able to use your initiative

Previous maintenance or labouring experience would be beneficial, though a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
