(0.5) Vicar of Hove, St John the Baptist

Set in the heart of Hove on the glorious Palmeira Square, St John the Baptist is a welcoming and prayerful parish, seeking a priest who will help deepen our life of worship and enable us to flourish as a sacred space in a vibrant location.

We are praying for a priest who:

• Has strong relational gifts and a pastoral heart
• Flourishes within an eucharistic tradition
• Is deeply rooted in prayer
• Enjoys working collaboratively with gifted, committed lay people
• Encourages creativity in worship, hospitality and service 
• Will help us develop our digital presence and use of social media
• Can communicate the mysteries of faith in generous, engaging and accessible ways.

An attractive modern town house is available, within walking distance of both the church and the seafront.

This is a 0.5 post, with an expectation that the office holder will give the equivalent of 3.5 days per week, including all or part of Sunday.
