Introduction
“Connecting people to Jesus Christ and each other.”
Are you a spiritual, prayerful priest who will help a Benefice consisting of two parishes and three churches to grow in faith and share the love of Jesus Christ with our communities
Three churches located on the Fylde Coast in Wrea Green, Weeton and Ballam, each with its own character, working and worshipping together as we seek to fulfil our aim of connecting people to Jesus Christ and each other.
Our worship spans the broad spectrum of Anglican tradition, and we value both tradition and new ways of spreading the Gospel. We are warm, welcoming congregations with active church life, strong community links, and close relationships with our local schools.
We are committed to:
- Growing in faith and in number
- Reaching out into our wider community
- Welcoming families and young people
- Exploring new ways of sharing the Gospel
We are seeking a Vicar who will:
- Be a spiritual, prayerful person, helping us grow in our faith
- Be an empathetic, supportive leader and a visible part of our community
- Help us develop the cohesiveness of the United Benefice
- Respect our broad range of worship while encouraging new opportunities
- Help us to grow our congregations, especially among younger people and families
- Encourage and support lay people in their gifts and ministry
Could you be the person God is calling to lead us?
