Introduction
Rector of East Dean with Friston and Jevington
Our two parishes are found in a coastal area of outstanding natural beauty, part of the South Downs National Park in East Sussex. We seek to be Jesus-centred, bible-based, mission-minded, and Spirit-filled.
The Acting Bishop of Chichester and the Dean and Chapter of Chichester Cathedral are seeking to appoint a Rector for our benefice.
We are praying for a Rector who will be a
- Bible-based evangelical
- Able preacher and teacher of the Gospel
- Leader who can guide the church family with a servant’s heart
- Prayerful person committed to sharing the Gospel with the wider community
- Person-centred pastor who makes all feel welcome
- Collaborative decision-maker and a team-builder
Our new Rector will be provided with a fine Rectory, warmly welcomed into our village communities, and supported in ministry by the congregations from our three churches.
