Rector, Benefice of Wychert Vale, mid-Buckinghamshire

Introduction

The six churches of the Wychert Vale Benefice seek a new Rector to lead the continued growth of God’s Kingdom in mid-Buckinghamshire.

The benefice consists of the large and rapidly-growing community of Haddenham, and the surrounding villages of Cuddington, Aston Sandford, Kingsey, Stone and Dinton. 

Our churches seek to put God at the centre of all we do. We want to share the love of Jesus more widely and deeply through creative outreach and faithful witness. 

We seek a Rector who:

• Inhabits a deep, steadfast faith with Jesus at the centre 
• Is a talented evangelist, who enables people of all stages of exploration to grow in faith
• Provides thought-provoking, challenging teaching relevant to our communities
• Is gifted in leading worship for all generations
• Can offer prayerful leadership of the Benefice, delegating effectively and recognising the distinct character of each church

• A large team of clergy, licensed lay ministers and experienced volunteers
• A shared desire to make the love of Jesus known throughout our communities
• Strong relationships with schools and other local organisations
