Incumbent, Baguley St John (Brooklands)

Introduction

St John’s, Brooklands is a welcoming Anglican parish in South Manchester seeking a full-time Incumbent to lead our congregation into the next chapter of its life and ministry. We are a friendly and caring church family with a strong tradition of liturgical worship, a valued musical heritage, and a genuine commitment to serving our local community. 

The Bishop of Manchester is seeking to appoint a priest who will enjoy leading us in the many seasons of church life in its joys and challenges. We are therefore looking for someone who can balance respect for our traditions with creativity, energy and a willingness to embrace new opportunities for mission and outreach. 

Our vision is simple: "Extending God's welcome to everyone." We seek a priest who will share that vision, serve with joy, and work alongside us as we grow in faith, worship and community engagement. 

The successful post-holder will also take up the role of Mission Community Leader in the Deanery.
