Introduction

We are seeking a Rector to lead our worship, inspire our growth, and deepen our outreach into the communities which we serve. A compelling opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic and forward-looking priest who appreciates the joys of beautiful countryside as well as proximity to cultural centres and who will lead with warmth, hope and a generous heart.

Could you be our new Rector?

Situated in three attractive villages in the Lune Valley, just north of Lancaster, the benefice offers the best of both worlds: thriving local communities and beautiful countryside and excellent transport links.

We are praying for a Rector who

  • Is deeply rooted in Christ
  • Is comfortable with the breadth of Church of England parish ministry
  • will lead with warmth, clarity and courage
  • will inspire and motivate and encourage prayer, worship and discipleship
  • who will develop lay confidence and shared ministry
  • will help us become more faithful, more confident and more outward-looking
  • has a sense of humour, curiosity and a generous spirit
