Overview
Four traditional rural parishes in West Oxfordshire
Two full days per week plus Sundays
We are four friendly village communities, seeking a vicar to help us continue our Christian witness for the coming years.
We wish our vicar to help us:
- promote the mission of the church in our villages
- work with faithful, committed and loyal PCCs and congregations, assisted by our Authorised Lay Minister and with some LLM support, to enrich our faith and promote co-operation between the parishes
- communicate the work of the church to other members of our communities
- develop links with the other representative bodies (Parish Council, WI, etc)
He or she will be:
- an inspiring preacher
- a people person sympathetic to rural life and keen to participate in it
- able to be flexible to different approaches to worship
- a leader keen to help us inspire others to join our congregations
- able to relate to a range of people, especially the younger generation
Please also have a sense of humour!
