Associate Minister (interim 3 years)

Main Responsibilities

All Saints Highertown is a church in the heart of Cornwall, both physically and spiritually - We believe that the church is Christ’s body here on earth, and hence a very special community in which we can experience the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

We are actively involved in many exciting activities and partnerships that are focused on growing God’s Kingdom in this unique place and we are seeking an Associate Minister to join us in seeking and seeing Kingdom growth in the Diocese of Truro and beyond.

We want a minister who will be able to lead the whole church community in loving service of God through a variety of parish ministries including:

1. Encourage and engage everyone to deeper and wider prayer, comfortable with a wide range of styles.
2. Establish a daily pattern of prayer visible and accessible from the church.
3. Re-establish a pattern of regular Sunday worship that reflects the breadth and inclusiveness of the All Saints community and its Anglican roots.
4. Further develop the pastoral team with an established lead and coordinator.
5. To extend the love of Christ through the ministry of occasional offices.

Above all else we want someone who feels genuinely called to this role and who applies only upon prayerful consideration and the prompting of God.
