Introduction

Mission Associate (Priest-in-Charge) – Rural Cluster 3
Our vision is Growing Disciples of Christ, with Compassion, Confidence and Courage – across the different contexts of our diocese. We want to see this realised in our wonderful rural villages and have developed an innovative model for mission and ministry to bring this about. Our model for rural revitalisation is built upon our learning to date and seeks to link local missional opportunities with strategically placed resources and leadership, focussed around a common vision led by our Lead Mission Enablers, who are ordained priests.

We want to appoint clergy who are excited by this vision to stipendiary posts as Mission Associates (Priests-in-Charge) in our rural clusters who will be playing an integral part of the team leading this forward.

We have an opening for a Priest to work in the following benefices:

Cluster 3
The Riverside Group (North Muskham, South Muskham, Averham and Kelham) plus the parishes of Bilsthorpe and Eakring

Are you someone who is passionate about lives being transformed and seeing churches flourish? Can you work collaboratively and creatively with a well-resourced team of lay and ordained colleagues?

Do you have the skills, gifts and calling to be part of this vision? Our parishes are beautiful and wonderful places to work. As a diocese we work to deliver our visionary aspirations together to enable the growth and health of the local church and offer support through learning communities, leadership, training and expertise from our diocesan team at Jubilee House.
