Introduction
Christchurch, Clevedon
Vicar
Might God be calling you to lead our all-age congregation (c200) who are hungry to deepen their relationships with Jesus and to share Him with the wider community?
Our context is unique and full of potential for all the Lord wants to do in and through us.
We are a single congregation Ecumenical Partnership with a team model of leadership, where both Anglican vicar and a Methodist minister share oversight of the staff team and church. With shared evangelical and missional focus, and a genuine sense of the presence of the Holy Spirit in all we do, we already enjoy a strong outward focus and good engagement with our local community but are keen to grow deeper and wider.
We are members of the Evangelical Alliance.
We are looking for:
- We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Vicar who will have a passionate love and deep relationship with the Lord, be filled with and lead with by Holy Spirit, have a heart to see lives changed by the Lord.
- We pray for a leader who will inspire us to follow Jesus as we serve together in Clevedon in this new season.
- We think the priorities for the Vicar are to lead the growth of the 20s-40s demographic, champion youth and children's work, lead in the Holy Spirit, and strengthen our inclusivity and representation of local community in our church family.
We offer you:
- Our desire for new leadership and a refreshed vision.
- A truly interesting and increasingly diverse congregation.
- Tremendous mission opportunity in Clevedon.
- Ministering together as a team, pooling our strengths, gifts and experiences.
- A great, modernised vicarage in the centre of our town.
