Priest in Charge, Abbots Leigh with Leigh Woods, Bristol (0.5)

Option to include Chaplain to Cote House Charity (0.3)

Is God calling you to something new?

The Bishop of Bristol is seeking to appoint a new Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Holy Trinity, Abbots Leigh and St Mary the Virgin, Leigh Woods.  This is an exciting opportunity to continue the revitalisation of the parish churches in this beautiful community.

In addition, there is the potential to include an additional 0.3 post, to offer chaplaincy and build deep pastoral and spiritual relationships to the Cote Charity’s purpose built homes: Katherine House and Griffin House.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Enable the ongoing outreach of the churches, to embrace the whole community
  • Continue to grow opportunities for mission, particularly with families, young people and schools
  • In addition, the potential to offer spiritual and emotional support to residents, their families and Cote Charity staff, in the role of Chaplain

Applicants are asked to clarify whether they are interested in the 0.5 or 0.8 role, on application.
