Introduction

Are you called to lead a warm, faithful, and rural parish into its next chapter?
We trust that God is preparing someone with the right gifts and heart to serve here. We pray that our next Vicar will help deepen our spiritual life, guiding us in prayer, teaching, and worship as we continue to seek and serve Christ together.

We cherish our traditional Anglican heritage whilst eagerly embracing new ways to worship and learn together.

Nestled in the beautiful Lancashire countryside with views to the Fylde coast and beyond our parish offers a peaceful setting with a strong sense of community. Though rural, we are well-connected, with easy access to the M6 motorway and nearby towns, making us both a tranquil and accessible place to live and serve.

We welcome applications from all candidates, noting that the post is half time, and feel the following to be preferable.

We are looking and praying for a priest who is:

  • Spiritually grounded, prayerful, and joyful in faith
  • Passionate about both traditional and creative worship
  • A gifted communicator with a heart for all ages
  • Technologically confident (to support our screen-led services and children’s ministry)
  • Committed to pastoral care and community outreach
  • Excited to work in partnership with our school and local groups

Come and join us as we seek to grow deeper in faith, wider in welcome, and bolder in witness.

We are praying for you already.

Closing date: 12 noon Monday 14th July 2025
