Overview
The Bishop of Newcastle wishes to appoint an Associate Priest for the Parish of St Andrew, Hexham (Hexham Abbey)
Introduction
Hexham Abbey is a vibrant, welcoming, prayerful, friendly rewarding and challenging place to serve. We seek a priest who has a deep love of God and is called to share God’s love in prayer, word and action.
Main Responsibilities
The new associate will deepen and strengthen discipleship in the congregation as well as mission and outreach to the parish and region, and to the 80,000 tourists, visitors and pilgrims who step through the doors each year.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a strong, collaborative team leader with well-developed skills in mission and ministry across the age range, visitor engagement and outreach and Christian nurture.
