Introduction
You will be joining the Diocese of Lincoln at a crucial time as we seek to ‘raise the spiritual temperature’ across Greater Lincolnshire. We want to embed our commitment to deeper collaboration and see churches of all kinds flourishing in their distinctive callings.
The new Archdeacon will:
- be passionate about sharing the Good News and encouraging people to inhabit the life of Christ joyfully, through worship, discipleship and service.
- play a full part in the life of the diocese as a member of its senior staff, fulfilling the statutory
- duties of an archdeacon, and sharing in the leadership, development and encouragement of the diocese;
- work alongside colleagues in every sphere of diocesan life in the continued embedding of
- Time to Change Together, and the development of our strategy for the next ten years: Time to Grow Together; work closely with a new Bishop of Grimsby, alongside local leaders both lay and ordained, forming a Leadership Team for mission and ministry in the north of the diocese;
