Introduction
Holy Trinity with St Augustine, Upper Tooting, is seeking to appoint a Non-Stipendiary Associate Priest

Current priorities at Holy Trinity:
- Grow fruitful: pioneer new mission, practise evangelism, and make new disciples of Jesus
- Grow in friendship: build up and encourage a broader, inclusive, committed congregation through social outreach activities/projects and excellent pastoral care.
- Grow faithful: nurture & strengthen faith through a varied programme of learning and prayer for seekers, newcomers and seasoned believers
- Grow family: gather & sustain families, children, and young people to begin a journey with God.
Current priorities at St Augustine’s:
- Reconnect with our geographical parish and build local relationships
- Promote excellence in worship on Sundays
- Encourage and support a new set of Churchwardens and lay leaders
- Extend ministry to families, children and young people
- Launch a Leading Your Church Into Growth course as a foundation for developing a Mission Action Plan.
Locations:
- Holy Trinity (74 Trinity Road) is 5 minutes walk from Tooting Bec tube (northern line)
- St Augustine’s (18 Broadwater Road) is 5 minutes walk from Tooting Broadway tube (northern line)
We are looking for someone who is:
- committed to daily prayer
- faithful in sacramental ministry, preaching and teaching
- passionate and driven to see the hungry fed and the lost saved
- fun; bringing warmth, humour, and joy to ministry
- able to offer the Benefice 6-8 hours each week, including 2-3 Sunday mornings each month
- a flexible team-player, able to join an existing ministry team of clergy and lay-leaders
- available to attend monthly ministry team meetings and share in the wider pastoral life of the church.

This is a non-stipendiary (unpaid) post.
