Priest in Charge Lidbrook Benefice

The Lidbrook Benefice is three parishes located midway between Chippenham and the historic city of Bath. The villages of Box, Colerne, and Ditteridge each have their unique character and sense of community and the churches that serve them have been on a journey of growing together in mission whilst recognising their unique gifts and contributions. The parish of Box also includes the care of Rudloe on the outskirts of Corsham which includes an area of social housing.

The Benefice is praying that their new Priest in Charge will help them develop and live out their vision for these largely rural communities and will build on their work to engage with schools and families in particular.

If you have any questions, please contact Revd Adam Beaumont, Associate Archdeacon, at adam.beaumont@bristoldiocese.org to arrange a call.

Closing date: 11:59pm 25th January 2026

The Diocese of Bristol is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All post holders are expected to share this commitment.  All appointments are subject to acceptable pre-appointment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.

Those with disabilities or those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds are under-represented in our diocese, so we particularly encourage applications from people in these groups.
