St Paul's Cathedral - Associate Minister

Introduction
St Paul’s Cathedral is seeking an ordained Anglican priest for a two-year fixed term Associate Minister post as an opportunity to explore and develop ministry in a cathedral setting. The role involves leading worship, offering pastoral care, and supporting liturgical planning in collaboration with clergy, staff, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preach, preside, and lead daily worship
- Support pastoral care for staff, volunteers, and visitors
- Assist with baptisms, weddings, confirmations, and school assemblies
- Plan and deliver services, prepare liturgical materials
- Represent the Cathedral to external partners
Person Specification
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Anglican priest drawn to cathedral ministry
- Leads worship and preaches with clarity and inspiration
- Has pastoral experience with children and adults
- Able to be flexible and undertake a wide variety of tasks according to need in a changing and complex environment
- Enjoys working in a team and copes well with uncertainty and change
The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
