Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity to lead four churches together into the next season of their ministries. The churches of the North Wakefield benefice are keen to work together to serve their local communities. We are seeking an experienced priest who will be a spiritual leader, filled with the Holy Spirit and who will help the congregations to develop their faith, and lead in mission and outreach in the communities. The successful candidate will have a track record of leadership in a complex environment, will love to nurture and equip others and grow the confidence and gifts of God’s people. The new priest will be confident in sustaining the different traditions of the churches, while understanding that all of the churches are open to the possibility of change. We offer a supportive and experienced team, including an Associate Priest, Retired Priests and LLMs, plus an administrator and enthusiastic lay leaders, along with a new, stylish and comfortable family home.
