Salary: £12 per hour (JNC Scale)
Hours: 7 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st December 2026
Location: Belfield and Cray Estates, Rochdale

Are you passionate about sharing faith and building community with children and families?
We are looking for a committed Sessional Youth & Children’s Worker to support outreach and discipleship activities in Rochdale, as part of the Diocese of Manchester’s Renewing Rochdale strategy.
About the Role
You will work alongside the Lead Youth & Children’s Worker to deliver engaging outreach events such as Youth Group and Fun Time, helping to build relationships and nurture Christian faith among children and families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support missional activities for children and young people
  • Build relationships that allow the Gospel to be heard and received
  • Help create discipleship groups and mentoring opportunities
  • Collaborate with churches, schools, and community partners
What We’re Looking For
  • A practising Christian with a heart for mission
  • Experience in youth and/or children’s work
  • Good communication and safeguarding awareness
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Interview Date: Wednesday, 8 October 2025
Start Date: Subject to enhanced DBS check, references and right to work in the UK.
