Introduction

Vicar of Boughton Monchelsea

We are seeking a full-time vicar for the parish of Boughton Monchelsea, a beautiful semi-rural area in Kent, with a supportive and caring community.  

We are praying for a new vicar who  

  • can guide and support our spiritual development
  • will share our commitment to grow our existing ministry to children, young people and families
  • will lead and inspire us as we look to find innovative ways of connecting with local people of all ages and developing active disciples in our church community.

We can offer you  

  • an enthusiastic congregation keen to learn more about God
  • a capable and committed ministry team, and many willing volunteers including a variety of musicians able to lead different styles of worship
  • a single parish including a Fresh Expressions church plant 
  • a spacious vicarage 5 minutes’ walk from the church and 2 minutes’ walk from the Primary School

Interviews will be held on: 8th January 2026 (with informal visits to the Parish on the 7th January)
