Team Vicar - Christ Church, Colliers Wood

Introduction

Christ Church is a diverse and inclusive congregation, whose church building is visibly set in the heart of Colliers Wood (south-west London). The Merton Priory Team is eucharistic and all three churches are members of Inclusive Church. You would work with the Team Rector and Assistant Curate and key lay members across the Team, but your main focus would be to lead Christ Church in serving the Kingdom in Colliers Wood.

We are looking and praying for:

• a Team Vicar who has a heart for community mission
• a priest with a eucharistically-centred spirituality, yet creative and flexible in using liturgy in a variety of styles
• a pastor with a friendly and personable manner ministering to people in times of celebration and sorrow, actively welcoming newcomers and encouraging them into deeper faith, valuing all from the very old to the very young
• someone committed to the flourishing inclusivity of the Merton Priory Team whereby people of differing traditions, outlooks, sexuality, race, and gender are warmly welcomed
• in short, a new Team Vicar to take Christ Church to the next level of life and growth.
